Jeanine Torres is founder and owner of the Mama University. Jeanine has worked in the healthcare industry for over a decade as a nurse and a business operations manager. After the birth of her son and experiencing the challenges and struggles of motherhood Jeanine’s focus shifted to helping mothers with similar struggles. Jeanine joined a mommy and me class in her hometown that profoundly impacted her mothering journey. Since completion of her mommy and me class she realized her passion and calling was to create a community for mothers and babies just like she had experienced. 

"I am a proud mom and passionate advocate for maternal and child wellness. As the founder of The Mama University, I believe in the power of connection, support, and community among mothers and their little ones.

My journey as a mom has taught me the importance of nurturing both our children and ourselves. I started this mommy & me group to create a safe space where moms can share experiences, find resources, and build lasting friendships. Together, we celebrate the joys of motherhood while addressing the challenges we face.

In our group, we focus on maternal educational classes, parenting resources, or community support, and mother baby advocacy. I am dedicated to empowering mothers and fostering an environment where we can learn and grow together.

Outside of our activities, you can find me chasing my 2-and-a-half-year-old toddler, taking some sort of health/workout class, or spending quality time with my family. I am excited to connect with fellow moms and work towards creating a supportive community for us all!"
